LED color temperature, what does LED color temperature mean?

Expressed in terms of absolute temperature K, that is, a standard blackbody is heated. When the temperature rises to a certain level, the color begins to change from dark red to light red to orange to white to blue. When a certain light source has the same color as the blackbody, we refer to the blackbody as the absolute temperature at that time is called the color temperature of the light source.

 

Because the correlated color temperature is the evaluation value of the LED display light color performance of the light source when the black body radiation is close to the light color of the light source, it is not an accurate color comparison. Therefore, two light sources with the same color temperature value may still have different light color appearances. There are slight differences. Color temperature alone cannot tell how well a light source renders color on an object, or how well the color of an object is reproduced under that light source.

The color temperature of the light source is different, and the light color is also different:

The color temperature is below 3300K, and the light color is reddish, giving a warm feeling; it has a stable atmosphere and a warm feeling;

The color temperature is in the middle of 3000--6000K. People have no particularly obvious visual and psychological effects under this tone, and they have a refreshing feeling; therefore, it is called "neutral" color temperature;

The color temperature exceeds 6000K, and the light color is bluish, giving people a cool feeling.

a. Color temperature and brightness: When illuminated by a high color temperature light source, if the brightness is not high, it will give people a gloomy atmosphere; when illuminated by a low color temperature light source, if the brightness is too high, it will give people a stuffy feeling.

b. Contrast of light color When two light sources with very different light colors are used in the same space, the contrast will produce a gradation effect. When the light color contrast is large, not only the brightness gradation can be obtained, but the light color gradation can also be obtained.
